Inmate Programs
oThe Programs Director is responsible for managing and supervising all inmate programs within the Detention Center. This unit researches, recruits, and creates partnerships with community and agencies and resource facilities, as well as recruiting and training volunteers for the facility (i.e. faith-based volunteers, alcoholics anonymous, work keys, etc.) The Programs Director also maintains an inmate library and coordinates continuing education and special education for any juvenile inmates or adults with disabilities.
Inmate Commissary
Inmates can order commissary items once a week. There are several ways to put money on an inmate’s account.You can mail a Western Union or U.S. Postal Money Order with the inmate’s name and identification number on it (cash will not be accepted). You can utilize the kiosk in the Detention Center lobby. You can also go online at jailpackstore.com and follow the instructions.
